A salute to all moms and dads today. Most are hard-working, loving parents who deserve a thank you. Do something nice for the moms and dads you know.
That fits in well with World Kindness Day too.
It's also Actor's Day and Whoopie Goldberg's birthday. Time to watch Sister Act and Sister Act 2. How about Corrina, Corrina? One of my favorite Whoopie movies is Jumpin' Jack Flash but I have to watch it on commercial TV so it bleeps out most of the bad language. I enjoyed her role as Guinan in Star Trek Next Generation too. You might even be able to find some station playing Call Me Claus.
